Spotlight: Jodie Wall – Wall2Wall.photos

Jodie is one half of the dynamic photography duo at Wall2Wall.photos. Many weekends you will find Jodie snapping everyday riders at Mt Mee or Mt Glorious in Queensland, Australia. Girl Moto is proud to have access to Wall2Wall images for use in our content. We love using “real” riders doing “real” riding and are excited to be working with Jodie as she captures more and more wonderful Girl Motos.

Where are you currently located?

Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

What’s your current ride?

2022 Kawasaki Z650

What was your very first bike?

Suzuki intruder

How long have you been riding?

About 4.5 years off and on

Where is your favourite place to ride?

I love the Peachester Rd Sunshine Coast QLD

Is there a bucket-list ride that you are yet to do? If so, where?

I’ve always wanted to ride the Route 66 and attend Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in the USA.

What is your usual riding style and with whom?

I usually ride with my hubby Richard Wall. There is something very therapeutic after a long week at work to hit the road and feel the wind in your hair.

What is your involvement in the world of motorcycles?

I’m relatively new to the riding scene. Getting my licence and learning to ride was something I had on my bucket list. A few years ago I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. After chemotherapy, multiple surgeries and radiation my wonderful hubby and kids all put money into surprising me with my Intruder. I’m still in remission and will continue to live life like there is no tomorrow.

What do you love about being involved in the world of motorcycles?

The community spirit is second to none. Everyone that rides on 2 wheels is part of a special group. It’s really difficult to understand if you have never ridden.

What led you to be involved in the world of motorcycles?

My hubby has always ridden motorcycles so I was involved more as a spectator. Then I got cancer and look at me now! 🙂

Any comments/thoughts/observations specifically about female riders or riding?

I think there are more lady riders out there than ever before. I think society wasn’t prepared for the love of motorcycles we now have as lady riders and it’s taken men a bit of getting used to ladies riding as well as the guys…..and sometimes better!! Lol

What is some advice you have for all motorcyclists?

Live each moment doing what you love. Don’t let anyone tell you what you can and can’t do. Tomorrow is never promised so get out there and feel the wind in your face.

Any thoughts/observations/comments about Girl Moto?

I’d like to thank Girl Moto for this opportunity to give a bit about myself 🙂
